When sending photos or attachments, multiple emails are sent

I am having trouble when sending photos or attachments using Windows Mail.
The incoming mail receives multiple emails, in text. Photos are not
available for viewing either. Can you help?

Go to the tools menu>accounts>select your account>properties>advanced
tab>remove the checkmark from 'break apart messages larger than'>apply>OK

Thank you SO much! I've been unable to send attachments for months. I
discovered that anything bigger than 60 KB was being broken up! No idea how
that box got checked.
