When scheduling meetings I don't want responses

Is there a way to change the default to not request responses? For the
meetings I schedule, it's not necessary for the attendee list to be up to
date. In our office, we all know who's coming and who isn't anyway, and I'm
sick of all those emails!
 
You could make a Rule to delete all incoming Meeting responses.
