When Right click the My network connection properties in windows2000 server, the screen will refresh

Dear All,

In My network Place , Right click My network connection properties in
eng windows2000 server with SP4, the screen will refresh, right hand
side icon will disapear. Nothing will happen.

So i cannot change the windows 2000 server IP. Anyone can help??

After reviewing the article and following those steps, I unfortunately still
do not have the Local Area Connection ICON, is there anyway to setup the IP
addressess through dos, so I can atleast network my system until a proper
fix is found?
 
Did you check Devicemanagement to see if the networkadapter is properly
recognized?
