When .NET 2.0 released, What MS Products will release for .NET 2.0?

Well, Michael, that is true, and I hadn't thought of all the other software
applications that will use the .Net 2.0 platform, which are currently in
development. Good catch.

Although not "for .NET 2.0", per se, SQL Server 2005 will also be released
at the same time.

You will certainly have SQL Server 2005. From press on the subject, it
appears BizTalk will also head this route, albeit via the Longhorn (VIsta)
version. Windows Vista is also slated for quite a bit more .NET (not just an
install of the libraries). Beyond that, I am not certain.

One thing that is certain, however, is XML is the lingua franca of Microsoft
in the future. Office formats, messaging, etc. are all centered around XML.

BizTalk 2006 is built with .NET 2.0 and will support SQL Server 2005 as well
as SQL Server 2000. It is scheduled for release next year, and will support
all OS versions supported by BizTalk 2004.

About time, too! I noticed that VS.Net 2005 does XML Documentation Comments
now, rather than HTML. Kudos to Microsoft.
