When minimize a program doesn't show at toolbar!

I never had this problem, this is the first time.
If I start an application like Notepad or Firefox, and minimize it,
it doesn't show at the toolbar.

But when I click Alt+Ctrl+Del, I see at the Task Manager that is running!

What is wrong?

I have Windows XP Pro SP2.
