You may wish to review WS:Repeat Appointment for Outlook at
www.websetters.co.uk as this allows you to set-up adhoc repeat appointment
as you describe.
Also be aware that version 2 is scheduled for Q4 2004 which greatly
enhances the current functionality in addition to introducing similar
functionality to the Outlook Recurrence function, include invites, time zone
impact awareness plus other features.
Overview of the additional features.
a. All the features of WS:Repeat Appointment 1 plus
b. Ability to mix appointments that meet a pattern with adhoc
appointments. For example you can set an appointment for the first Monday of
each month and then modify with adhoc function to change some Mondays to the
Tuesday.
c. Send invites as well as set personal appointments
d. Configure up to four time zones so that when an appointment is set, you
can see what time the appointment will occur in each time zone. Ideal for
setting appointments that involve people in different time zones
(e.g.conference calls)
If you would like to understand more or perhaps hear about the early release
programme then contact (e-mail address removed).

I would like to pick random dates for recurring appointments...not all
appointments fall on every other Thursday or the first Monday of the
month.
