The next version of Windows is Longhorn what is rumored to be coming in
2005 or 2006. There is no announced version coming out earlier than that
(though I did see an article yesterday stating that MS is considering an
interim version to keep their cash flow positive).

I think my next "upgrade" for Windows XP will be a return to Windows
2000. I'm sick of the bugs and fluff. That next super major service
pack better do a lot to fix Windows XP or Microsoft can kiss goodbye any
sales to those still lingering on Windows 2000.
