im sure im the only person who would think of this, but i have a question. :)
as we all know, or should know- video games have started to leap in graphical representation over the years. my question is, when is too much deatail too much? i have looked at quite a few nex-gen games for all the systems and PC and it looks likes theres too much happening that graphics may more distractive than immersive. Whats your take?

Dont know ??

If they start making cheap Graphics cards then i`m all for it...doubt they will though...i cant get enough of COH ..now thats immersive :thumb:

Good point Alf,

if you remember years ago when on the Playstation or gameboys you thought 'wow can the graphics get better than this?' Its a bit like that now, however yes, the graphics are starting to look better than real life. Is that far enough?

Thats rue enough, so much going on as you say. Same as films where computer generated stuff is added in but way over the top, the Matrix was just right. Tee!! Hee!! just had a thought I still got my 3D Revelator glasses in the cupboard, now that was cool when playing games.

Just imagine when things look almost believable real though, now that will be fun to see :)

Rush, I'm the same with COH - it's great isn't it!!! The graphics look amazing at full zoom out, but it is so good you can go all the way into a single person with the camera and it still looks great :D
