When is CE.Next expected out?

I have a client who has 4 or 5 eVB applications in use. I'm trying to
convince them to upgrade from eVB to .NET CF. I've seen a chart that
shows that the next version of handhelds (CE.Next) will not support eVB
at all. The upgrade for most should be non-trivial, but a one is very
complex. I want to make sure there is enough time to complete the
upgrade without upsetting the clients too much.

Does anyone have a link that shows how long it will be until CE.Next
will be released?

Windows CE 5.0 RTMed in July. The next version is way out. .NET CF 2.0 will
likely RTM in the first half of 2005.

The current version of Windows Mobile doesn't support eVB although you can
get it to work by downloading and installing the runtime yourself. I
understand that it won't work at all on the next version of Windows Mobile,
but a release date has not been announced. I'd definitely recommend moving
from eVB to VB.Net in any case.

Will the eVB runtime still work on CE 5.0?

eVB will not be supported on any future devices, Windows Mobile 2003 is the
end of the line for eVB.
