When is Antispyware going to be out of beta?

They've stated publicly that beta2 will be available "this year."

Well beta 2 looks set to be near winter time so sometime next year will more
and likely the the release of the final product. but no exact date.

The current version (beta 1) expires 12/31/2005
(midnight?). As you are aware, it is being constantly
revised (that is what beta testing is all about), and, of
course, input from those who rationally participate in
microsoft.private.security.spyware discussions have a
direct influence on all aspects of the product and the
behavior of Microsoft in general. That has always been
the case. Beta 2? Production release? Bundled with the
OS? Tell MS what you want and why!

I have often thought I would like to see MSAS
incorporated, configurable and monitored thru the
security centre in control panel. That way all matters
relating to internet security would be tidily available
from one GUI.
