When in the heck is a .NET 1.1 Service Pack coming!!!!!!!!!!

And/Or maybe a Visual Studio 2003 Service Pack. I encounter too many
unnacceptable bugs especially with User Controls.

Does anyone know when one will come! Not saying this will solve all my
problems, but it's about time for a service pack!!!!!!

Absolutely nothing. There are far too many bugs that need to be fixed.
I'm having one bug in particular that's killing me having to do with
UserControls and public enums (do a search for chakachimp if
interested).

My guess is that Whidbey will be the next thing we will see, in other
words no service pack for Visual Studio 2003 is coming (and/or .NET
1.1). Kind of like when there were (as I recall) no service packs for
VB5 (if there was there were very few). Visual Studio 6.0 basically
was the service pack, then there were several service packs for Visual
Studio 6.0.

i couldn't get to the thread in question, it dumped me on devdex with 500
pages of paged data. i wasn't about to go look for it. if you have a direct

you can find more specialized help in the vsstudio newsgroup. This is about
where my knowledge ends on this subject. Sorry i couldn't be of more help
