when I TRY to upload my pictures from my didgital cam

Why when I try to upload my pictures from camera , I get this error message
saying "Parameter is incorrect"
How do I fix this problem? I have tried anything and everything.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Uploading to? If uploading to a website is failing, try transferring the
pictures to your hard drive first. Then try uploading the pictures on the
hard drive to the website.
