When I search for sent items in outlook I don't get results

When I search words it my Outlook (2003) sent items, I don't get any results,
even if I know the word exists in a sent email. If I have a search folder
configured to search for the same word, it will find the term in my sent
items. Any thoughts on how to fix?

You have to use Options setting to the right of the Look In box and set
"search text in all messages." Also make sure the 'Search In' setting is
correct.

'Search All Text in Each Message' is selected. Another thing that I
discovered is that my search capabilities in any of my folders 'Drafts;
Inbox; Outbox; Sent Items' does not work properly. For example, I can search
for 'jobs' (common term used in my emails) and the search will only return
attachments with the term 'jobs' in it, even though I know that many more
emails contain that term in the body text.
