When I record off my AIW why in play back in there 6 little blocks in the top right

When I record off my AIW why in play back in there 6 little white blocks in
the top right corner?
How can I get rid is this and why is it doing this?
This have been bugging me for a long time now.

This is caused by the Moonlight-Elecard MPEG-2 decoder. If you think you
didn't install it, it's included in several codec packs, so maybe you
installed one of those. It's time for another 'codec pack warning':

I quote: "In most situations, you do not need to install codec/filter
packs and certainly not every codec/filter that comes with these packs.
In fact, you may run into problems if you install too many codec/filters
on your computer. It is Highly recommended that you only install the
codec/filters that you absolutely need."
