when I preview my page i get a runtime error

Dear Person out there,

I need help. I edited my index page in front page 2003. when I went to
preview the page, I got this message:
"a runtime error has occurred. do you wish to debug?
line 0
error: invalid character"

I would appreciate any help on this. thank you.

That error is caused by an error in some JavaScript on your page
- delete all scripts you added to the page, or get the correct script and instructions from wherever you got the script you inserted
in your page
