Russ Valentine said:Ah, much better. Now I see the problem. This can arise whenever your Outlook
Address Book Service loses its connection to your Contacts Folder(s)
(usually after you've imported Contacts, moved your Outlook data file, or
updated your version.)
Make sure the Contacts folder is enabled as an email address book. Right
click the Contacts folder, choose Properties then Outlook Address Book. Is
the box to enable as email address book checked?
If this is grayed out...Go to Tools | Email Accounts, choose View or change
existing directories or address book. Is the Outlook Address Book present?
If it isn't listed, add it and close and restart Outlook. If it is listed,
then remove it and close then restart Outlook and repeat these steps to add
it.

Russ Valentine said:You're the only one who will be able to solve this part. The behavior you
describe can only occur if the Outlook Address Book is displaying a Contacts
folder that is different than the one you are looking at in Outlook itself.
It is easy to end up with more than one set of personal folders or more than
one set of Contact Folders if you've been moving or importing data. Use the
Folder View of Outlook to examine the entire folder hierarchy of your
Outlook profile and see if you have more than one set.
