when I close my splash screen the switchboard fails to open

Fix the error in your splash screen code.

If you would like help doing so post some information about your database,
such as the code behind the splash screen. Feel free to use the big textbox,
not just the subject line.

The problem I am having is that the Application Icon box has no defult or
options I guess my real question is Can I create an icon myself?

We're not there, Norm; we cannot tell what it is you're trying to do, what the
Application Icon is, or even what software you're running. Give us a little
help please? Software? Version? Settings?
