When I close my report the db closes too

Obviously I'm missing something somewhere but I can't seem
to find the answer to solve this. I open my db, I select
my report, I print the report, so far so good. Now I want
to back to the switchboard to continue in the db but when
I close the window the db closes too. Under the Tools Menu
I've looked thru Start-up, Customize, and Options but I
can't see how to fix this. Thanks!

Hello Sarah,

Sorry for pointing out the obvious, but you arn't clicking on the X in the
top right corner for Access are you instead of the smaller one for the
report underneith (if the report is maximized)? If not, do you have any code
in the forms unload event or anything like that which may be the possible
cause for this - if so, can you post it?

I discovered what it was- there was a maximize macro that
obscured everything beneath so my only X to close the
screen closed everything. Thanks so much for your reply!
