When I close mail all read messages are deleted when I reopen

This just started happening for no reason. Why are my read messages being
deleted when I close the program? Also, they are not going in the deleted
folder they are just dissapearing. Please Help!!!!
 
Do you have the View set to Hide Read Messages?

View - Current View - Show all messages

This is applicable to each folder.
