When do we know when new corrected def.files are released?

The def.file 5743 have as many others have found out an
false Trojan detection error and finds "Trojan 93" in all
ATI drivers........

Question:
Can we read the relases notes of the def. files somewere?

It doesn't alert on my ATI All-in-Wonder 128 Pro.

Microsoft doesn't provide release notes.

I would re-check this when a new set of definitions is released.

Usually such releases are flagged by some helpful volunteer here or in the
..signatures group--particularly if they come at an unusual time--such as
mid-week.

Bob,

Are you sure? It did not for me with quick scan, but did
with fulkl system deep scan.

No problems found here. I suspect it's only a subset of the ATI
product line, perhaps cards more recent than mine.

What card are you using?

Bob Vanderveen

ATI Radeon 9800 pro 128MB. But I think it more likely
related to the drivers: I have catalyst 5.7 installed.

Yep...my card uses the Rage rather than Radeon chipset and therefore
doesn't use the Catalyst drivers.

I have "ATI Radeon 9800 pro 128MB" with catalyst 5.7.
I have tried 5.4 and its the same

guess we have to wait for Microsoft to fix it...

Did anyvone of you guys send in the Online error report
so that they know what to fix??

.
ATI Radeon X850 XT Platinum with both Catalyst 5.6 and
5.7 - I just upgraded last night to try and resolve the
first episode on last Saturday, hoping it would go away
today...but VOILA! I run deep scans, too.

The problem is not with the ATI drivers but with
the "Catalyst control center" entries in the Reg.

I like the CCC and would like to see this "false
Positive" fixed, hopfully in the next release....
