I just started using Outlook 2003 (on a new computer at work). When deleting
an email, it's so fast, it deletes the next email too. Is there anyway to
change a setting so it doesn't automatically delete emails so fast. I end up
undeleting every email... just so I can check to make sure I haven't
accidentally deleted something I haven't read yet.

I've looked at the mouse settings, but they are set on the slower end.
HELP.

Thanks,
Kathy :)

How are you deleting it? Are you clicking the Delete button or are you
pressing the keyboard's Delete key? Does it make a difference which you
use? Is only the message that deletes highlighted or is that one and the
next both highlighted prior to the delete? Are you using Exchange?

Thanks so much for getting back with me so quickly. It happens when I click
the "X" delete, which is how I usually delete emails. I just tried hitting
the delete button, and it doesn't seem to do it, so maybe that's the way to
go.

I have MS Outlook 2003 (not Exchange).

It's just my clicking mouse seems super sensitive! Is there a setting I can
adjust it?

If your mouse is super sensative there may be an option to amend its
settings in the Control Panel
