I have read that Microsoft will allow it to be downloaded. Now this was in
an I.T. e-mag and may or may not be right but they are usually correct.

So, is it correct? If it is, does anyone know if it will be download of an
ISO that I can burn?

It is now available via download to MSDN subscribers, OS level or higher. Is
that what the article was alluding to?
Perhaps if you were to provide a link to the source...

Yes, it WILL be available to download. ISO? More than likely, but until
release date, no one knows (and those that do ain't talking).

Thanks for that. It would be the preferred method. You'd think it would be
available ahead of shop disks though but then again who knows? :)

YES! Microsoft will be offering Vista in a downloadable form. I'd bet
the delivery method will be ISO but I can't say for sure until they
actually start offering it.

Everything I have heard, which includes talking to local retailers, says
Vista will be on the store shelves 30 January.
If getting Vista quicker is more important, going to a store may be faster.
Also check, many stores will have in-store promotions that may add
significant value.

Oh boy will they ever!

I hope the Best Buy, CompUSA, Staples and Circuit City sale
circulars that come in the Sunday edition of "The New York Times"
will have these promotions. I am a home delivery subscriber and
get them Saturday morning.
