Hi.

Please pardon the length of this post but I've got a very strange
problem, that I would love if someone could shed some light on.

Basically there are 3 addresses that do not receive email from me. I
can send and receive email to all addresses with no problems. I can do
this using OUtlook as well as a new Ipaq I just got (could be part of
the problem). BUt these three addresses do not receive any email from
me when I send from Outlook or the email program on my Ipaq. I can send
email from my webmail account to these emails with no problem so I
assume this isn't a server level problem but a problem with Outlook.

I've checked all the filters and there is no reason why any of my emails
wouldn't get through and the one's I send from my webmail get through so
that isn't an issue.

When I try to send an email to these accounts they go out like normal
and never get bounced back. It's like they just go into oblivion, but
they aren't going anywhere as I can't see them when I check the webmail
for that account either.

I should mention that these three email accounts are being accessed by
another user on this same computer who is using Eudora. But there is
also another email account with that user that I can communicate with.

Everything seems to stem from Outlook. I've used the Outlook Disc to
uninstall and reinstall Outlook but this does'nt fix anything.

As I said before I just got an Ipaq 4355. It's great, but I'm having
the EXACT same problem sending email from that device. It will send to
these three email addresses but it doesn't go anywhere and no messages
are received.

If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them!!!!!!!!!!
I'm at the end of my rope...

Thanks so much.
Timothy

If you can send e-mail, and confirm receipt of that same e-mail, to ANY
single e-mail address, you've eliminated a problem with your hardware and
any software that might be running on it. Thus, outlook is not the problem.

The problem is probably somewhere between your ISP (the one you are using to
try to send e-mail with outlook and the ipaq) and the rest of the world.
Some domains are blocked by other Internet Service Providers. If you are
sending e-mail from one of these blocked domains, you may or may not receive
an error message from the domains that have blocked your domain. It is
ironic then to hear that you have no problem sending e-mail from webmail, as
the web-based services are the most blocked domains. -Dave

I can send email to these three addresses from my address on any other
PC but only when I use this PC it doesn't come through. I really don't
think it's the ISP as this has never been a problem before today.

You say they are just disappearing without trace. Isn't there an option
within OE that allows you get get some kind of receipt showing that your
email has got through to the recipient. I don't use OE so am not sure
where abouts you would set it. Somewhere in one of the menus when you
are writing the email, I guess. Could be useful to see if it is getting
through to somewhere.

Tools-> options -> reciepts-> radio buttons at bottom

I think it's under "tools" "rules" and look at under "messager" where say:
Blockage senders.
