Whats up with this vid card?

Prometheus Xex

I have a barrowed Radeon 9200 duel head card. When I hook the DVI to my TV,
as secondary monitor, it works fine (other output of card not hooked up).
When I restart my computer and the TV is not on and selected to Video 2
(where is connected to), then afterwards when I turn on the TV and select
Video 2, I see nothing unless I restart computer with TV on. Is there a
tweak to fix this? Is there something I'm not doing right? Primary card is
an 8500 AIW hooked up to desktop monitor.

FWIW, my 9700 pro wouldn't detect a tv attatched to it unless the tv
was turned on before turning on the pc. I think it's just the nature
of the beast.

Well the beast needs a smack in the head! There must be some way around
this. I want to buy a duel head X800 PCI-E and use it on my monitor and the
second DVI out to the TV. (HDTV set that is... sweet).
