Whats the weather like with you today

Well we're only a couple of hours into today down here (8:23am) but so far so good. I aint so stupid as to think the rain'll hold off all day but it's nice to have it stop everynow & then
Luckily the water is no longer up over our path... owing to the fact that our path now has a hole in it big enough to take the majority of the overflow... except for when we get the major downpours
The flow was strong enough at first to wash all the bricks lining the garden right across the path. Been here 3 years now & I've seen the creek run pretty high before. Even up over the path a couple of times during storms. But this is not like anything I've seen before. Even the kids can see that the path's past it's 'best by' date now. Gunna have to come up with the cash to build a bridge over there I think... something a good couple of feet above the current path level anyway
I'm hoping the rain'll hold off for most the day today (we have had a couple of days when it did, even saw stars a couple of nights) But it'll be back again, each time I've thought it was over so far I've been wrong. This damn thing has been covering most of the country for nearly 2 weeks now. But at least we're not having houses flooded & the like any more. If it'd washed over here a week ago no one would've even noticed any bloody tsunami

Bhodi I'm sorry, but you did not pick the best time to visit my country :(

HOT humid & 24c ... I'm looking for an AC

:D

Really great :)

Sunny, warm, like it was the first day of summer, sortta.

Spent the evening gazing at the Thames outside the Cutty Sark pub, saw sun go down, there were at least twenty of us there tonight, haven't seen that many gathered since about September.

Yes, bring it on, keep it up :)

Just got back from a night out, and some bugger has nicked my jacket! Grrrrrrrr was my favorite one too :(

Been in a beer garden for most of the day :D

Tis damn muggy tonight, sitting here watching some potent storms up in the Scotland area... there was 10,000 homes without power and two direct hits to properties earlier in Ireland...

Not nice... and there may be more to come on Saturday for the people in S/East upto the Midlands areas.
