What's the verdict on the ATI 4.3's and/or the Omega version?

Hi All

So is there a general consensus on the ATI 4.3 drivers or
their Omega counterpart?

I have some "spare speed" on MS FlightSim 2004 so a small loss
of speed isn't a big deal. Are the new Shaders worth it? Can or does
FlightSim take advantage of the Shaders as much as the games like UT
or Quake?

Thanks

Seem to work perfectly fine for me? Was I supose to find something wrong?
:)

Of course I just game with the card, not watch movies on a TV or the
extras... I still believe a seperate TV tuner card for that... but that just
me.

ATI 4.3 works fine for me, play a lot of Command & Conquer Zero Hour.
Win XP, 9600 PRO AIW

How's the 9600 pro AIW perform with other games?
fps in particular, especially black hawk down and similar.
I'm wondering if the 9600xt aiw is worth the extra money.

Only played C&C Zero Hour, so far

A comparison with the Omega would be interesting. The added advantages
of the Omega are easier overclocking and softmodding plus there seems
to be fewer issues with installation. Tests on the relative graphics
abilities of both drivers would be useful.

I just downloaded the 4.3 from ATI a few days ago. I got about an 11%
increase in speed from the previous 3.7 drivers. Installed Unreal T 2004
yesterday and its working fine at 1024X768 32bp. Quake3 was a bit faster.
