What's the time lag on new printers?

I have searched the web for ink and resetting tools for my Epson RX500,
but find no mention of this model or the cartridge series T048XXX. This
printer appeared first in the USA last October. How long does it
typically take for ink manufacturers to provide supplies like ink
refills
and resetters for these new products?

I think it's dictated by how popular your printer is.

I can easily find supplies for my Canon i860.

Have you checked ReInk.com? BTW, I believe there was a software
application that could reset the chips as well.

Hi Lucas,
ReInk does not show anything yet for the Epson RX500.

I downloaded the program to reset my cartridges. For the Epson RX500,
it will only work in a reduced capacity mode where you can 'freeze' the
level of the ink and then 'restore' it. There is no display of the
current ink levels, and I'm not sure it is of any use.

Contact MIS (www.inksupply.com) and ask them.
