Just new to Vista after some years of XP. In Windows Contacts there is a
File As field available. I assumed it was the same as in Outlook, but I
can't see how to get anything into it. Can anyone help please? Also the old
sort option to show last names, first names seems to have disappeared.

unused field.

Normal use would be first, last or last, first.

You will notice that there are some other field not used like ISO speed.
They just dumped them all in one spot to be able to choose depending upon
need.

Some programs add to it as well. I think I rememeber it on a computer with
Outlook installed and on another computer without Office anything installed,
it's not there so my guess would be Office added it.

Interesting. Yes, I have also discovered the large numbers of unused fields.
Never mind, the same system as the old WAB works pretty well I guess. Thanks
for taking the time to respond.
