actual 'contacts' and the email addresses which automatically complete when I
start typing the first few letters. i.e. I want to migrate all the email
addresses I use to my Blackberry, but they are not necessarily 'contacts' -
any ideas?

cheers

Contacts can be synced with BB. I don't recommend syncing all contacts if
you can avoid it - use categories to limit the sync to the addresses you
use. Definitely use categories for the people you call the most, it makes it
a lot easier to find their phone # when you only show that category in the
phone book. (Desktop manager can sync by category and you can sync multiple
folders if you desire, BES is all contacts, including subfolders, by default
although the admin can block subfolders from the sync.)

The auto complete list is an autocomplete cache. Those addresses are not
added to your contacts, they are not searchable and they are not syncable.
See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/nicknamecache.asp there are apps there
that you can use to extract the addresses.
