What's the Date...

I have placed a Calender controle on a web page. I want to hyper link a date
on the calender to a web page which will give a discription of the events
happening on that day.

So if I click on July 4th, It will hyperlink to a web page which gives a
summery of the activitys on that day and date. So far I can hyperlink to the
calender controle itself but not to any spacific date.

Any suggestions
 
I am a beginner, but I think it depends a lot on how the calendar works.

Some calendars have the option to click on a date and the date is then
pasted in a text box.
In this case, you could use the date as a link to the page wth that date as
part of its name.

e.g. if the date pasted is 04-07-2005, you could pick up this value and
hyperlink to
date04-07-2005.html (for example) and similarly for other dates.

I suppose in the USA, though, the date for 4th July would be 07-04-2005
