What's the best website to get free applications? Tucows?

I like using Tucows, but figure maybe I'm missing something else.

Why limit yourself to one? These are what I currently have bookmarked
and they're in alphabetical order. Note that some of these sites offer
a mixture of freeware and other software types. That's never of any
concern to me if the site is well laid out and the freeware is easy to
get at. Note that if a site is not on this list, it may be because the
last time I tried to access it, the page wouldn't load for whatever
reason:
