What's the best version of Winamp?

Installed the pro version of the latest version and I don't think I've ever
seen a bigger resource hog.

Also, I do enjoy the internet TV option on the new Winamp. Is there a
freeware alternative?

I have ver. 2.82 running as just an executable. Takes about 6.6 MB RAM.

For videos, I use 5.03
For mp3s, I use 3.0

Sucks having to use 2 versions of the same program, but so far, its what
works for me.

The workaround didn't seem to work for me so I took version 5.05 Pro.
With the Classic skin it seems similar in appearance and lack of
bloat to the old version 2/3.
