Hi,
my laptop has 512mb ram, and to run vista home premium 'properly' i need
1gig according to the windows vista requirements. I want to get the
full
benefits of vista (like aero).
if i had a flash drive would it increase my ram to allow me to have 3d
aero
etc.
i currently have a kingston data traveller 1 gb pen drive that i use for
college. i have also seen a "corsair turboFlash windows ready boost
accelerator". it comes in 512mb and 1gb, 1gb costs around £15. will
these
work in the way that i want them to and is worth me buying them. thanks

What's the best usb memory stick to augment RAM?
I haven't got one at the moment - so I might as well get a good
one.
Is it as fast as RAM?
I bought a Kingston Data Traveler on sale this week at Circuit City.
Supposed to be one of the faster drives, especially for random
access, and
it was mentioned on a site I found as being one of the few that works
with
ReadyBoost.
Vista RC1 accepted it just find and I dedicated 860MB out of 1GB to
ReadyBoost. Not sure I can see much difference yet, but my system
has 2GB
of RAM already as well.
