it will be gandhi's revenge in the morning pmsl!

Well if you have never had a curry i would go for a mild Korma first before jumping in with both feet and blowing your tongue to pieces.....Slowly slowly now...

There is a place in my area called the Dhanmondi - it is a Restaraunt.

They do *THE* nicest Korma in the world, and *THE* best home made Garlic Naans in the world.

If anyone wants the best curry ever, go there.

Oh - and its a Korma for me - the best taste, not hot, creamy and mild and oh god it tastes good!

I have had many a curry before, but as i've been so pi55ed cant remember them:o

Thought this time i should be a bit more sober & enjoy it.
Would prefer a veggie curry, but would try chicken.
Oh and would prefer something that is not going to give me a gippy tum later;)

Any one I make ... free towels supplied, you'll need 'em. ;)

I'll need three days notice ... it takes that long for it to mature.

Asda's own has been proven to be better than Andrex ... and as a second opinion, I can highly recommend it. :D

Andrex were caught red-faced when Asda independently proved their's was the best toilet paper on the market.

... were were we ...

oh yeah, enjoy your curry. :thumb:

* i don't 'arf have some quite usless information in my head *

Best curry? It's all down to personal taste, innit?

I like a lamb vindaloo meself, but quite like most of them - except Korma.

For veggie curry, the red lentil curry is amazing, I make it meself, not sure what they call it on the Indian Restaurant menu, it'll be some kind of dhal (pulse) I suppose. Or any vegetable curry is quite nice, cauliflower, potatoes, green beans, that kinda thing.

Once, just once, I ordered a chicken Phal, it's the hottest there is within Indian cuisine. It's so hot you have to eat it in one straight go, if you pause you're done for. I do love a hot curry but this thing was too hot, it wasn't a pleasure so much as a challenge and an ordeal ;)

Oh god, Korma!! Its the worst thing ever. Its like........GIRLS CURRY!!! haha.

Nothing wrong with Girls mate.....:p Or has all that time down under sent you a little the other way....:D

Hmmm... what is the point of having something which is so explosively hot that you can't taste it? Oh yes, that's a "bloke thing" isn't it...

a good curry has good flavour - as well as a bit of heat - no matter which kind it happens to be......... and right now, Mucks' is sounding pretty good.:thumb: I make curries too, and would agree with him that they DO taste better when they've had time to mature.

Everything tastes better when its had simmering time. I make an awesome chilli and i let it simmer for at least 3 hours. Same with Spag bol. Makes it so much better. Hate waiting for it though!!
