I read "IPv6" is enabled by default on Vista and this tech blogger says:
"most normal people will therefore want to disable it almost immediately"

So what is "wrong" with "IPv6" ???

There is nothing "wrong" about IPv6.

What are you communicating with that uses IPv6? I think the answer is
nothing. So why enable something on your computer that is doing nothing
except making it more difficult to troubleshoot network problems,
potentially takes up resources (DNS lookups, ...), and is not needed?

I don't think anything is wrong with IPv6, its just that IPv4 is still
dominant. For example my router knows nothing about IPv6, nor I think does
my ISP offer it. So unless I use it internally (which I fail to see the
point of) then I can't make use of IPv6. Thus, it might as well be disabled.

That's probably the rational behind the comment you read.
