It has been a year since my last build and everything seems pretty much the
same except there are SSDs.

Any guesses as to what is next?

Google OS...........

Right now, that is for WWW browsing only, but I was about hardware mainly.

There is not a comprehensive, centralized source of information concerning
new technology. We pretty much have to hunt and gather information from
various sources to get an idea of what is coming up. And if you are like me
you get annoyed because you might miss something important because you
failed to look under the right rock.

The sources I look under from time to time are Tom's Hardware Guide, Maximum
PC, Rocketboom, and any reports about tech conventions.

nVidia is going to launch 40nm GPUs in September. Sprint Introduces the
99-Cent Netbook. Mmmmm.

The evolutionary human ability to mentally filter out stuff one does
not want to hear, fulfilling the true meaning of "freedom of (and
from) speech" and solving many domestic problems.

Man-made diamond chips, instead of silicon chips. They won't "melt" from
heat, like all the crap I got now...

so we can cook on these chips, and it would run well at the same... C&R

Peer to peer electro-elastomer dildonics is going to be a huge thing.

so we would be able to cook on a chip, and it would be running well at
the same time... C&R(cook and run)
?
