I have the virus which makes my laptop reboot continually. Can anyone remind
me which this is and where I get the removal tool from? I think it's
Blaster???
TIA

Probably Blaster (or close kin). The reboots don't necessarily mean you
are infected, just that something is attempting to infect you. Apply the
appropriate MS patches, after turning your firewall on (if you don't do
that you may never get online long enough to download the patches).

Obviously you do not have an antivirus.....or a firewall......why not??

Symantec has the FixBlaster tool. And Blaster makes your computer crash
continually....about every 10 minutes. Why not do an online scan at
Symantec or Trend Housecall first. (duh, because he crashes
continually, Heather....grin).

Download 4 things on a clean computer.......the Blaster Fix from
Symantec......the patch from Microsoft to close the hole......an
antivirus program such as AVG at www.grisoft.com (free) and also a
firewall.....as in the free Zone Alarm...... www.zonelabs.com A
firewall is crucial to keep Blaster from re-entering thru your open
ports.

And go the Clay's site and learn about safe hex and all kinds of good
stuff. http://www.claymania.com/nav-map.html

After that......use Google and find AdAware6.....for spyware. I will
let you do that one yourself.
