Seriously, go to TomsHardware.Com and search for "VGA charts".
Be mighty careful with Toms Hardware. While the site is amusing, and there
is some knowledge to be gained from it, they are exceedingly BAD at doing
unbiased, accurate reviews.
When I got my first AIW card, the 8500dv, then just called the 8500 AIW, the
software was so buggy I decided to look around the 'net to see if I was
doing something wrong. There it was, a review for this very card on Toms
Hardware. They slobbered all over this thing, heaping praise upon praise
about it's every virtue. No mention of buggy drivers or severely
unrealistic system requirements, which my system exceeded by a very wide
margin. Later, as other folks went about reviewing this card, I found it
was indeed the drivers, and not some obscure mistake on my part, that made
this card practically unusable for anything other than a standard video
card, at least until several driver versions and a huge upgrade later.
It turns out Toms Hardware has this reputation elsewhere. So, while I still
occasionally visit their site, I NEVER place any trust in their reviews.
They're best at watching new products, much like Popular Science's What's
New section.
