They could be, depends on which program kernel? You should
try the system file check, [Start/run-- "sfc /scannow] to
check - repair system files.
It could be an error in a program other than Windows, but
Windows reports an error.
Google for "kernel errors" and look for Microsoft knowledge
base articles. Write down the exact error message and
search Google for that also.
