line. This model I have, the 980e, was less than 200.00 USD, and it is
an absolutely splendid display. I'm very pleased with it.

I second the Envision. Best monitor I've owned and its been working
great for over 2 years. 19" Envision 980e flat.

I have to agree with the other respondents to your post. The Envision has
been a great 19-inch monitor for me. I got mine at Staples about three years
ago and it's been perfect. Can't beat the bang-for-the-buck factor, that's
for sure.

Maybe. I've been very happy for 18 months with a "CTL 910TF", 19-inch,
flat-front, 1600x1200 @ 75Hz, 3 yr warrantee, seen recently for 200 US$
at a US retail store.

Having once had a monitor with a very low glare screen, I'll warn you
that while all (?) monitors have low-glare coatings, a very few have
screens that look more like finely-ground glass, which don't look
quite as sharp or bright as otherwise, but might be better for you if
you have lots of glare to deal with. I saw a very cheap one while
shopping at some office supply store, but have forgotten the make.
(The 910TF is sharp and bright.)
