What would I Type in...

You should go to the website www.google.com and type something like, 'rock
music wav'. Understand that Google, or any internet search engine does not
know anything about music. search engines do not look at the music file and
categorize it by beat, tempo or voicing: the search engine just looks at the
words on the website and finds if those 3 words appear.

So if a site has the sentence, "This site has no wavs files of rock music"
it will show as a positive for all three of the words, even if there is no
music.

If you want to use a different music file format then replace wav with mp3,
mid, au, or whatever.

There are a lot of sites that offer music for share. Make sure that you are
using only music you have permission from the copyright (or equivalent)
holder. It would really spoil your day to be slapped with a lawsuit from an
upset record company. There are also many sites that offer music for free
or sale. Your search should reveal several.

Good luck,
B

What would I Type in if I wanted a sound clip that
has "rock" music?

I typed in the word rock in the search box in Clip Organizer (which is
what PPT 2002 and 2003 use) and set the file types to sounds. That
turned up 8 hits. Those files are pretty short, though.

You might poke around at http://www.flashkit.com There are some good
soundtracks (designed for background looping, mostly) available there.
