We Live For The One We Die For The One

I want my Xp 2000 to reach a full 2000 mhz ?

Any ideas i can do this just by changeing the FSB.

If possible how much extra cooling would i need ?

Also what would the Agp speed 100 ?? or 150 ?

Thanks.

Ive had ip up to 140 fsb 1700 cpu.

But unstable i take that to the crappy ram i have.

Was going to get some Crucial XMS ram and give it ago.

Their was no heat problem when i had it at 1700 just unstable, so i
take that to be the ram, or the PCI or AGp multiplier, just need some
software to figure out what they are, as i can't set them, its
automatic GRRRR.

One thing i will look for in a new board is a Diviser of 1/5 1/6 1/7
and 1/8 and more if possible :/

Any more help please!!!

Would this work on my board ?

FSB |CPU Speed| PCI Multiplier|PCI Speed | AGP Multiplier | AGP Speed

160 | 2000 | 1/5 | 32.00 | 2/3
| 106.67 |

Ive got an Overclocking program that gave me the stats.

Seems ok to me or is the AGP tooo fast ??/

Any help would be great.

Just want to squeeze some extra speed out of my CPu and board before i
am forced to upgrade BIG TIME, no time soon, but screech it some more
would be nice.

Thanks again.

Many of the new boards (like the A7N8X) lock PCI @ 33 and AGP @ 66 MHz,
with an option to overclock the AGP bus speed.

It all depends on the quality of your mobo and hardware that is plugged
into it, only you can tell us how fast it can go, do some
stress/stability tests with memtest86,prime95, 3dmark running in a loop,
etc,,,, and keep an eye on case/CPU temps... don't let the smoke out. ;p
