What would be an Optimal Allocation Unit Size for 200gb Volume?

Is there any compelling reason not to format a 200gb NTFS volume using 512mb
allocation unit size?

If so, what would be the optimum allocation unit size to use for the volume
(and why?), which will contain Data only, mostly small files like word docs,
smallish JPGs, etc... typical professional office stuff...

TIA
Chris

Search times will be longer and the drive will be more prone to
fragmentation. Better to choose a cluster size closer to the average file
size. Like maybe around 4k
