Dave R.

For people who enjoy to come into the Excel newsgroups and find ways to
solve others' issues with Excel (me being one of them), what are the Meyers
Briggs personality types of you all?

I tested as an INTJ, I suppose something about being an INTJ brings me here
to excercise creative problem solving skills or something.. since I am often
bored with routine or non-challenging tasks at work.

Here's a link to a test. This is just out of curiosity, any thoughts are
welcomed.

I took the test. It said that I shouldn't share the results with anybody!

That can't be good.

Actually, INTJ, also.

I guess I always knew that I was a cross between Hannibal and Hannibal Lector.

My opinion is if you take it for fun, it's fun. But it's difficult to believe
that anything more than something fun can come out of 72 questions--no matter
how delving.

(But thanks for the link--it's going to work. Should make for a fun day!)

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. I read elsewhere that a higiher percentage of
technically-oriented (for lack of a better term) people are INTJ than the
other types. From the way some people in the Excel forums write, I think I
have spotted many other INTJ in here.

I don't know how far you've looked into it, but when I read descriptions of
INTJ type they all seem to fit me like a glove, but not in the general way a
fortune cookie or horoscope might.

Oh, to satisfy the excel group.. COUNTA(A1:A10).

Hi!

I'm a ENTP

I think that was the interpretation.

Ditto for me on everything you said about yourself. Including the
personality type. Otto
