What type of ink should be used to refill a HP "15" cartridge?

From what I understand there are two types of black ink for inkjet
printers; ink where the colour is dissolved in the liquid and ink
where the dye is in the form of small particles suspended in the
liquid. I have read on the net that the latter is the more modern
invention and should be used with the HP 900 series. Is this true? And
is the black ink that they sell on eBay of this form generally?

I once tried to refill a "15" cartridge with universal ink that i
bought, and it was possible to print with it, but the ink dried
quickly and clogged the nozzle destroying the cartridge!

I also wonder what type of ink the three colour ink they sell for
refilling of cartridges (mine is called "78") is? Thanks for any
relevant reply!

Generally re-filling ink cartridges is not a good idea.

Best is to buy replacements from printer mfr, BUT.

IMHO equally as good and a lot less expensive is buying ready-made
cartridges from mfrs who specialize in making that type.

That is what I do and it works for me. Saves lots of money too compared to
buying proprietary cartridges from printer mfr.

Why? I've been doing it for almost two years and have encountered no
problems whatsoever and all I 've done is save a fair chunk of money.
If you are going to give that kind of advice, maybe you should state
your reasons.
