I have 2 virtual machines setup in VMWare and both are win2k3 domain
controllers. I have limited space assigned to them right now (prefer to
keep it that way) but I was experimenting a while back and added
thousands of Contact objects and the DIT is about 970 megs right now and
the virtual drive it's on is about 1 gig in size. I'm getting errors
about no space left on the device which is causing all sorts of problems
as you can imagine. I can't access ADS to delete any of the contact
objects b/c all the tools say that the domain can't be contacted or that
it doesn't exist so is there any other way to get access the data so I
can prune it a bit?
As a side note, I'm building an LDAP browser in java and it has no
problems accessing the directory structure (I just haven't implemented
deleting yet or I could use my own program to fix the problem ).
thanks
