Go back to Microsoft download site and get the next version (that one
expires in December 2005).
There is currently a known bug with the new version regarding updates
where it will keep saying that its definitions are old and need to be
updated. The Help->About dialog shows the latest updates have been
applied but the update function keeps saying it has an old definition
file. Search the newsgroup (which would have answered your question
before you asked), and probably microsoft.private.spyware.general is a
better group, and you'll see the instructions on how to install the new
updates and make MSAS realize it has those new definitions.
