what to choose

Let for a moment say that the prize is not an issue here:

Which disk or disk combination would be optimal for a lightning fast
pc (not considering all the other factors in designing a pc.)

I'm considering:

Maxtor, 73GB, 15000RPM, SAS, 8E073S0 ''ATLAS 15K II'' 4
msec, 8MB Cache.

But maybe that overkill for at desktop pc....
