What the &@(% is up with the cookies?

Ever since I updated to the latest version of IE I can't
get my browser to accept cookies. Sites like Yahoo!
won't even let me login. I have changed my settings to
accept all cookies and it still doesn't work. I get a
message that my browser doesn't accept cookies. Anyone
know what the &@(% the deal is? I thought updates were
supposed to fix things. Right.
