What the F*?

Okay. Let's try this again. I first tried to send this
through MSAS using Tools/Suspected Spyware Report, but the
POS program got locked in a failure loop. So, let's see if
Microsoft can accept a FireFox generated complaint.

Second; What gives with the dialog box that shoots up and
down the right hand of the screen? I've installed MSAS on
four different computers, and each one has ended up having
some kind of dialog box ZOOM up/down the right side of the
screen. On the rare occasion that I have been able to get
the pointer onto the dialog box before it dissappears, it
does nothing. I sure would like to be able to read those
dialog boxes, just to see what they say, or how Microsoft
is screwing up my computer.

Sorry, but I don't have time to spend hours searching
through all the messages complaing about how bad the MSAS
is to find anything about zooming dialog boxes. 36 pages,
with 50 posts to a page. That's over 1500 posts to weed
through to most likely not find anything about what my
complaint is. To bad MS search isn't truely functional.

First of all, YOU ARE USING A BETA PRODUCT! Please bear
that in mind before you slate it as a "POS". You initial
problems could be due to existing spyware/malware already
installed on your system. As with any anti-spyware
product, it works best on a freshly built system that
hasn't been exposed to loads of spyware/malware.

Secondly, if you look through the functionality of the
program you would have found the answer to your second
point! Open up AntiSpyware and on the System Summary area
of the program window, click "Real-time Protection". You
will now be able to see the warnings/accepted programs
for Internet/System/Applications.

Anyway, you might as well not bother with the application
as you clearly have a poor opinion of Microsoft. Switch
to Linux and plague them with your opinions.

You can view all the messages generated by the software
by simply going to tools > real time protection and then
choosing "View all Blocked Events" or "view security
agent events." Everything the software does is logged
and is able to be looked at for further analysis.

The zooming dialog boxes is a bug. It should only be happening if your
start/taskbar is not at the bottom of the window position.

Changing the start/taskbar to the default bottom of the window position
should fix this. Yes, this is a beta product!

Sounds like an operator problem to me. LOL...
